Community Affairs and Involvement
Our business success is directly linked with our reputation as a responsible corporate citizen. We truly care about our neighboring communities in which we live and work with the goal of creating economic and social well being.
We conduct our business under the strict guidelines that set forth the performance standards we expect from our employees and contractors. We are committed to maintaining high standards of ethical conduct and pursuing our business operations with integrity and respect for the various different cultural environments with which we interact.
Ultra Petroleum encourages and supports local community involvement. We understand that being a responsible corporate citizen is not only the right thing to do, but ultimately results in benefits to all stakeholders over time.
Directors, officers, and employees are encouraged to volunteer their time and energy in leadership positions with various charitable, business and religious organizations.
Our employees are encouraged to donate generously to charitable organizations. The Company and its employees have recently participated in charitable fundraising programs for University of Wyoming, School of Petroleum Engineering, Northwest Assistance Ministries, Boys and Girls Country, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Sublette County, Pinedale Fine Arts Council, Wyoming Mule Deer Foundation, Special Olympics – Wyoming, Galeton Public Library, Cowanesque Valley High School, Junior Achievement - Denver, Food Bank for the Rockies, Marine Corp Scholarship Foundation, Breast and Bone Health Center at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands, and Palmer Drug Abuse Program.
Our goal is simple; to be seamlessly integrated as part of the local communities where we operate.
